How You Will Fulfill Your Potential  Design, build and maintain high-performance, high-availability, high-capacity platforms for front to back clearing and trade processing functions  Understand market and client behaviour, regulations, front to back business and Operations functions  Work closely with Trading, Sales, Operations, Engineering teams to define behaviour, functionality and expected outcomes for the products under development  Work closely and collaboratively with colleagues across regions Skills And Experience We Are Looking For  Approx. 2-5 years of Core Java development experience (solid understanding of Core Java concepts and Design Patterns). Similar expertise with equivalent object oriented languages also considered (e.g. C++/C#). Desire to build strong and efficient SDLC practices.  Approx. 2-5 years RDBMS experience (Sybase or UDB preferred - able to write and analyze complex queries with multi-table joins and aggregate functions)  Approx. 2-5 years OO design/development  Systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with a hands-on experience of debugging and optimizing code, as well as automation  Strong interpersonal skills and drive. Excellent communication skills required, able to contribute to discussions on design and strategy.
