Job description
Job Title: Platform Engineer Experience: 3–6 Years Location: Bengaluru / Remote Employment Type: Full-Time About the Role We are looking for a skilled Platform Engineer to build and maintain scalable infrastructure, internal developer platforms, and deployment systems. You will work closely with backend, DevOps, and product engineering teams to improve reliability, automation, and developer productivity across the organization. Key Responsibilities Design and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure and platform services. Build CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployments. Develop internal tooling to improve developer workflows. Monitor system health, performance, and reliability metrics. Manage containerized workloads using Kubernetes and Docker. Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform or similar tools. Optimize system availability, scalability, and security practices. Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot production issues. Automate repetitive operational and deployment tasks. Maintain logging, monitoring, and alerting systems. Required Skills Strong experience with Linux systems and shell scripting. Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Good understanding of CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI. Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform. Knowledge of monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack. Familiarity with networking concepts, APIs, and system security. Experience working with distributed systems and microservices. Preferred Qualifications Experience building internal developer platforms. Knowledge of service mesh and observability tools. Familiarity with backend development in Node.js, Go, or Python. Experience with database operations and performance tuning. Understanding of SRE principles and incident management.
