Job description

J.P. Morgan Asset & Wealth Management Digital Marketing organization is seeking a Software Engineer to work within our digital marketing technology team and face-off to stakeholders within the Marketing and Events teams. J.P. Morgan Asset and Wealth Management is onboarding a new events management platform (Aventri), that will help drive efficiencies and maximize the business impact of our events strategy. The challenge in this role will be to design and deliver the adoption of this platform, as well as integrating the platform with our CRM systems, approaching things from the user's perspective, understanding how we can use platform output to inform our events strategy, and partnering with the Marketing and Events managers to maximize utility of the platform for the day to day events management. Details As a member of our AWM Digital Marketing team, we look first and foremost for people who are passionate around solving business problems through innovation and engineering practices. You'll be partnering closely with our marketing and events teams to build a first class events experience platform supporting in-person, hybrid and fully digital event experiences. You'll be collaborating with both the Digital Marketing Events global development team as well as the wider marketing and CRM platform engineering teams to integrate with the wider martech and CRM ecosystem, as well as working closely with our vendor solution partners. The team encourages diversity of thought and creative solutions that are in the best interests of our customers globally. This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:  Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science or equivalent   7+ years of Software Development Experience   Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices; digital marketing experience is beneficial   Proficiency in Java; as well as Javascript/React as secondary preference, Experience with Kafka, Springboot, cloud etc   Understanding of agile development lifecycle   Strong focus on customer empathy   Good communication skills and confidence working with business partners and stakeholders   Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals   Passionate about building an innovative culture  JPMorgan Chase & Co., one of the oldest financial institutions, offers innovative financial solutions to millions of consumers, small businesses and many of the world's most prominent corporate, institutional and government clients under the J.P.
