In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development and implementation of our analytics products and services running in public clouds. You’ll evaluate them and implement migration plans to move from data centers into public clouds. If you are strong, passionate and high-energy Principal Engineer with product development background and in building large internet scale platforms & products from scratch or existing products, and leading one or more scrum teams technically, functionally and the agile development practices, then you are the right member to be part to our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the leading the architectures/designs/implementations for large scale product called Modular BIGIP and its subsystems/services/components for on-premise, private & public clouds (MS Azure, AWS, GCP). You’ll evaluate them and implement migration plans to move from data canters into public clouds. Primary Responsibilities 12+ years professional software development experience, with 5+ years as Architect or Principal Engineer with ability to architect & design large scale enterprise class platforms & Software-as-a-service on cloud.Design and develop systems/services with high availability, scale, security, reliability and performance at large scale.Hands-on in architecting, designing & Coding, developing Proof-of-concepts (POCs), Lead architectural discussions and help team in driving towards right design decisions.Work proactively with scrum teams, product management and other cross functional teams and stakeholders in Product planning and grooming, Backlog defining & Grooming both functional and non-functional aspects.Establish strong working relationship with partner teams across the organization to identify dependencies and align priorities and workAnticipate challenges, identify risks and recommend mitigations and solutions. Own and drive those solutions.Develop expertise across multiple modules/systemsRegularly assists Architects and Managers with project scope and estimatingWorks (potentially) with Architects in devising and developing new solutions and that may involve cross-module dependencies.Regularly details all aspects of product design and ensures that resulting design specification fits into technical architectural framework.Review product architecture and help identify performance bottlenecks and other systemic limitations.Engages with customers to address escalations and devise solutionsEngages with customers and Product Management to define and deliver product solutions and influence product roadmap.Define public system interfaces for use across modules and products.Translate business requirements to system design strategies. Defining high level functional / physical design elements.Regularly finds ways to communicate widely through discussions, white papers, publications and otherRegularly demonstrates collaboration by promoting others’ ideas, influencing others, and making teams successfulIdentify opportunities for integration. Required Skills & Abilities Strong experience in architecting, designing and developing multi-tenanted platforms & products with high scale & performance. Strong in-depth experience in Linux, Windows OS, Networking & Virtual Servers/hardware and Network Infrastructure management. Experience in Cloud native providers like MS Azure or AWS or Google Cloud or any major Cloud vendors in the market and their services.Experience on Machine Learning & Deep Learning tools, algorithms, models and building analytics at scale will be an added advantage.Strong in-depth experience in distributed technologies like statically typed languages like Java, GoLang, Python and REST, Micro services , Apache Spark, Apache Kafka , Zookeeper, and web technologies (JavaScript, HTML5, React.js/Angular JS).Strong experience in Databases like Postgres and any NoSQL. Strong hands-on experience in Docker, Kubernetes, architecting, and implementing K8S/k3s based large scale distributed products across private & public clouds Strong experience in Cloud native providers like MS Azure or AWS or Google Cloud or any major Cloud vendors in the market and their services.Experience with CI/CD tools & processes including Cloud native CI/CD servicesStrong experience in delivering quality output and coming up with engineering best practices.Should have exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to think creatively, strategically and identify and resolve problems.Ability to lead and influence in product architectures & designs, tools & development processes.Expert knowledge and extensive experience with vertical stack technologies.Experience leading complex product technologies and initiatives from concept through release.Expert level development experience in embedded operating systems.Able to collaborate and thrive in a fast-paced high-performance environment.Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communications.Regularly finds ways to communicate widely through discussions, white papers, publications and other.Regularly demonstrates collaboration by promoting others’ ideas, influencing others, and making teams successful.Is well respected by key stakeholders and peers across broader product development organization.Experienced public speaker and Product expert.Mastery knowledge of product life cycle.High focus on technical delegation.Serve as mentor to other Subject Matter Experts in a minimum of two skill areas.
