About the job Job Summary: We are seeking a Senior Software Developer with strong expertise in Java and backend technologies to design, build, and maintain scalable systems. The role involves working with data pipelines, resolving complex data issues, and requires strong analytical skills, hands-on coding experience, and a solid understanding of modern backend architectures. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance backend services using Java. Build and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices architectures. Work extensively with MySQL for data modeling, querying, and performance tuning. Develop and maintain ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading. Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, ensuring data accuracy and consistency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend, DevOps, and data teams. Monitor application performance and implement improvements where necessary. Required Skills & Qualifications: 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Java and backend development. Strong understanding of core Java, multithreading, and object-oriented design principles. Experience with backend frameworks such as Spring Boot or similar. Solid experience with MySQL, including complex queries, indexing, and performance optimization. Strong knowledge of building and maintaining services and APIs. Good understanding of ETL processes and data workflows. Proven experience in troubleshooting data-related and production issues. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with modern Java-based technologies and tools. Experience with Python for scripting or data processing. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
