Objective General Objective for Job Title The System Engineer is responsible for the ADAS End-User function in the customer series project. He handles the functional behavior from elicitation of stakeholder requirements till a customer satisfying performance of the ADAS function in SOP. Responsibility General Responsibility for Job Title • Responsible for ADAS system function in customer projects and contact person for internal and external customers. • Developing innovative and safety-critical systems and components for driver assistance systems • Understand Stakeholder requests and analyze requirement specification • Refinement of requirements and functional decomposition to functional System Architecture • Definition of the system behavior and performance in cooperation with the platform development and the customer • Analyze and define system behavior, data and control flow between platform elements and application software. • Analysis of the peripheral component properties (sensor, brakes, steering, HMI,...) on system performance • Trouble shooting of functional system behavior in development vehicles and the series production • Presentation and demonstration of system performance to customers and management • Support of testing activities, review of Test specifications and results Competence General Competence for Job Title • A relevant Technical Engineering Degree e.g. Electronic Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, etc. • Systems engineering experience with experience in complex functional development.
