Job description
Job Title: Project Manager-Global Medical Policy Strategy and Ops At Lilly, we unite caring with discovery to make life better for people around the world. This role will facilitate project plans and coordinate interactions between the Global Medical Policy Strategy and Operations (GMPSO) Pediatrics and Medical Policy teams and internal and external partners. The GMPSO Project Manager will also provide project management expertise to other groups within GMPSO as needed. In addition, the GMPSO Project Manager will lead operational aspects of business plan coordination and will serve as a liaison with our business partners to support new and ongoing strategy. The role will also support the monitoring and documentation of deliverables and disseminations as well as metric reporting associated with team performance to share with Leadership and other functions. Primary Responsibilities Provide Project Management with Pediatrics Team (60-70%) Act as project manager for external interactions between Lilly Pediatrics team, Lilly Compound teams, and external experts (e.g. I-ACT and IMI c4c): Act as a single point of contact and coordinator Manage cross-functional meetings (agenda, facilitation, meeting minutes, follow up) Help coordinate all on-site I-ACT visits and yearly portfolio updates across all TAs Develop processes for consistent implantation of interactions including consulting services, site network services, and work order process Facilitate and execute work order process and all required follow up Collect feedback from all involved parties and provide recommended improvements to process, efficiency, and effectiveness of collaboration Contribute to I-ACT updates, executive summary slides, and newsletters Follow up and deliver on other critical implementation activities (MSA amendment, invoice enablement, ad hoc meetings/discussions between Lilly and I-ACT, SIP discussions, receiving/routing quality and performance reports, receiving/routing sunshine payment reports and other compliance reports, etc.) Developing/tracking metrics for pediatric steering committee and pediatric capabilities function Assist in tracking and setting the agenda for pediatric capabilities function team meetings and pediatric steering committee Provide Project Management with Medical Policy Team (20-30%) Facilitate routine update meetings of Investigator Initiated Research (IIR) team including setting agenda, keeping minutes, tracking action items Ensure tracking of improvements to IIR process and tools Document and prioritize the enhancements needed by the business Assist in meetings of the Externally Sponsored Collaborative Research steering committee including drafting of metrics Manage updates to Medical Policies through quality system in partnership with business architects and quality consultants Participate in meetings as needed under the direction of the Senior Advisor for Medical Policy Provide Project Management for other GMPSO (10-20%) Support the Sr Director of GMPSO in projects as identified through business or strategic planning Provide project management expertise to other functions in GMPSO as needed Minimum Qualification Requirements Bachelors Degree: scientific, engineering or health care preferred Demonstrated experience performing project management for function, cross-functional project, or similar, with demonstrated knowledge of project management tools and processes (e.g. management of integration, scope, time, cost, quality, human resources, communications, risk and procurement as defined by Project Management Body Of Knowledge) Additional Preferences Strong problem-solving skills; able to anticipate and recognize problems and prevent recurrence Excellent self-management and organizational skills; able to manage workload, set personal priorities and adjust as needed. Strong interpersonal skills; able to develop effective teamwork between colleagues with diverse interpersonal styles Effective leadership and influence skills with ability to network across a wide variety of functional components and external vendors/partners.
