Primary Responsibilities • Design, implement and maintain Salesforce applications across all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) • Develop, test, implement and maintain application software working with established processes • Establish, refine and integrate development and test environment tools and software as needed • Identify opportunities to optimize Salesforce application projects • Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle • Write well designed, testable, efficient code • Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications • Prepare and produce releases of software components • Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review • Ability and willingness to work independently in Scrum Team • Following best practices and standards ,building reusable components • Ability to willingness to work on POC’s and building robust applications • Adhering to project and practice level guidelines for deliverables • Communicate effectively with other engineers/ QE and onshore team • Support the QE team during testing via defect fixes, code deployment, clarifications • Work with the Deployment Lead, peer developers to complete various project deployment activities • Adhere to proper use of source control • Ensure delivery of technical artifacts for each project • Mentor developers on technology and application knowledge as needed • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so Required Qualifications • B.Tech / MCA / Msc / MTech (Minimum 15 years of formal education, Correspondence courses are not relevant) • 5+ years of experience in Java Script, Angular JS • 4+ years of working experience in Salesforce technologies like SFDC APEX Classes, VisualForce programs in Force.com • Experience working with Architecture, API, Custom Objects, Utilize SOQL API’s, Apex controllers, Apex Web Services, Apex, callouts, SOQL and other development tools to build custom functionality • Hands On with object-oriented programming experience using Java, C# or a similar language. 2+ years of experience in programming in AJAX, JavaScript • Thorough understanding of SFDC governor limits and best practice Guidelines and implement the same • Hands On in designing and developing integrations from Force.com to Upstream and downstream applications using Force.com API(s) • Good understanding of master data management in Force.com • Hands on with Source Control like GIT, TFS, etc • Already worked on Agile platform - Scrum Team - preferably used rally as the Scrum tool • Know the OOPS, SDLC and the release processes • Been part of the development team • Proven excellent written and verbal communication skill both with technical and business partners • Proven good at multitasking and organizational skills • Proven good attitude and self - motivated Preferred Qualifications • Certifications for Force.com Advanced Developer - PD1 • Experience of working on DevOps and related toolsets • Experience of C#, WPF, WCF, HTML, CSS, JavaScript/JQuery and MS SQL Server2008 • Experience of working in Agile environment • Experience in the Health Care industry • Exposure for working with an onshore and offshore environment At UnitedHealth Group, our mission is to help people live healthier lives and make the health system work better for everyone.
