• Define monitoring & alarming thresholds. Setup clear and accurate SLO/SLI for efficient service monitoring.
• Drive toward automated deployments & modern approaches to configuration management.
• Focus on application reliability. Ensure applications and infrastructure designs avoid pitfalls of large scale SaaS offerings (bottlenecks, single points of failure, etc.).
• Full service handling (analysis, debugging, response, and resolution) of application level issues using application monitoring tool.
• Focus on service availability. Reduce MTTR by assisting the incident command, operations, and application developers teams to diagnose & resolve service outages (incidents with significant customer impact).
• Solve problems relating to mission critical services and create solutions to prevent problem recurrence, with the goal of automating response to all non-exceptional service conditions.
• Influence and create new designs, architectures, standards and methods for large-scale critical systems.


Educational Qualifications

• Bachelors and equivalent from reputed institution.
• 6+ years of software development, software engineering and/or system operations experience supporting cloud offering. Good coding skills in at least one of the object-oriented computer languages: C# or Java. 
• Experience in implementing Application Performance Monitoring (APM), synthetic monitoring, and real user monitoring (RUM), using tools like AppDynamics, Application Insights, NewRelic, DataDog, and other similar tools. 
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines with tools like Azure Devops, GitLab, GitHub Actions.
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible or Puppet
• Experience with DevOps engineering or SRE
• Demonstrated proficiency with two or more relevant programming or scripting languages. Examples include Python, JavaScript, PowerShell, Linux shell scripting
• Exceptional communication skills, and the ability to communicate professionally with both business and technical teams.
• Ability to work with little or no direct supervision.
• Ability to recognize and prioritize critical tasks independently.
• Passion for quality and the optimal user experience.
• Passion for working with customers and advocating for their requirements to be met by features
