Must have skills required: problem solver, PostgreSQL/MongoDB, AWS, Python, Fast API, Django, Generative AI, Microservices, Restful APIs, Mongo DB, DevOps Lyzr is Looking for: We are looking for a skilled Backend Engineer with strong experience in Python-based backend systems and cloud-native development. The ideal candidate will be comfortable building scalable APIs, working with real-time communication, and integrating modern AI/Studio APIs such as Agents and Knowledge Bases. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python and FastAPI • Build and optimize RESTful and real-time APIs, including WebSockets • Work with MongoDB for schema design, data modeling, and query optimization • Deploy and manage backend services using Docker and AWS • Integrate and work with Studio APIs such as: • Agents • Knowledge Bases (KBs) • Ensure application performance, scalability, and reliability • Collaborate closely with frontend, AI, and DevOps teams • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code • Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions Required Skills & Qualifications • 3–4 years of hands-on experience in backend development • Strong proficiency in Python • Experience building APIs with FastAPI • Solid working knowledge of MongoDB • Experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, ECS, Lambda or similar) • Hands-on experience with Docker • Experience implementing WebSockets or other real-time communication mechanisms • Familiarity with Studio APIs (Agents, Knowledge Bases) Good to Have • Experience with async programming in Python • Exposure to AI/LLM-based applications • Experience with cloud-native or microservices architectures • Basic understanding of system design and scalability concepts • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines What We’re Looking For • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills • Ownership mindset and ability to work independently • Comfortable working in fast-paced environments • Curiosity to learn and adapt to new technologies Interview Process: Technical Round 1 (DSA+Problem Solving) Technical Round 2 (Live Coding + System Design) How to apply for this opportunity? • Step 1: Click On Apply!
